国产偷拍视频 Biola currently offers three application deadlines to prospective students:
- November 15 (Early Action 1),
- January 15 (Early Action 2), and
- March 1 (Regular Admission).
The university adopted this format in 2004 to keep pace with enrollment growth.
What Is Early Action?
Early Action is a process for admitting students that utilizes application deadlines and notification dates to provide admission decisions in a reasonable amount of time.
国产偷拍视频 Early Action allows the institution to shape and track enrollment goals. Admissions officers evaluate each student for what they can bring to the institution, and choose from among qualified candidates at each predetermined decision date.
国产偷拍视频 Biola has reached the point where more traditionally qualified applicants apply than can be admitted, and Early Action enables the university to more effectively respond to controlled growth and selectivity initiatives.
Effect on Applicants
国产偷拍视频 If a student is accepted under one of the Early Action application deadlines, they are not required to attend Biola. Early Action is non-binding. The student has until May 1 to notify Biola of their intent to attend.
国产偷拍视频 If a student is not admitted in one of the early rounds, there are two things that may occur. If the student is clearly not a good match for Biola, they will be denied admission. If there is a possibility of future admission — with improved test scores or GPA — the decision will be deferred until the next round. The student has the opportunity to provide additional materials to strengthen their candidacy.
The benefit of Early Action for the student is learning of admittance to a top-choice school early. Besides peace of mind, Early Action also allows the student to focus on financial aid deadlines and visiting campus without worrying about admittance.
Regular admission deadlines are March 1 for fall semester and November 15 for spring semester.
