All Biola students take 30 credits of biblical studies. These classes will challenge you to examine and enhance your personal faith and will train you to integrate Christianity with your future career. While most students take only the 30 credits and receive a minor in biblical and theological studies, some pursue bible, theology and ministry国产偷拍视频 as a major. 301 Biblical Studies Research Seminar — Research skills for use of the internet, library and reference works in biblical studies and theology. Methods of writing with emphasis on critical thinking, persuasion, and evaluation are covered, culminating in a research paper and oral presentation.
311 Biblical Backgrounds — Contributions of archeology, geography, culture, and history to biblical interpretation.
312 Principles of Interpretation — Methods and principles for interpreting Scripture throughout church history and present era with an emphasis on the grammatical-historical method.

321 Historical Theology — Historical survey of people and movements which have shaped the faith of the Christian Church from post-biblical times to the present.
330 Jesus' Life and Ministry — Chronological study of the gospels as well as a look at the historical, cultural, and theological factors aiding the interpretation of the events and teachings.
340 Guided Study — In-depth study of a specific book or books of the Bible including written report on the relevance of the book to the student's life.
